than you would have had, if you were only marketing to
consumers. Plus, businesses may be willing to pay more for your

network your business. Individual consumers are usually more
than willing to refer you to anyone who specifically asks about
the type of services you offer. Another business owner,
however, understands the importance of word of mouth advertising
and may be more apt to bring your name up in conversation,
rather than waiting to be asked about who planned their last
event.

Continuing with the example of the event planner, other
businesses would be attending many of the events you would be
planning. They, too, are in need of the services you provide
and could see first hand the quality of the work you perform.
This alone, would be an excellent way to network with potential
clients.

Business to business marketing can also add to your
credibility. When you have worked with well-known businesses,
this adds clout to your resume. An individual consumer would be
very impressed to see that you planned a luncheon for the town’s
largest car dealership. The simple fact that businesses also
hire you could impress an individual consumer so much, that they
would be willing to pay you a higher fee.

To generate the most “buzz” about your business, you will want
to market your business in many different ways. Business to
business marketing is another way to achieve your goal of
creating buzz.

With the difficult economy the way that it is, it’s very important to find ways to increase savings and reduce expenditures. It’s no secret that when someone starts a business, the key to making that business work is by spending less than what is being made. These events are relatively inexpensive when compared to television commercials or large billboards and yet they have the ability to reach hundreds if not thousands of local customers.

Again, it’s an inexpensive way to spread the word about any company and its products and services. There are always local events that could use sponsors. From kids’ baseball leagues to cleaning projects and more, there is no reason not to sponsor something on an annual basis to really get the word out. Indeed, there are several ways to advertise inexpensively for any small business owner.

I’ve read 100’s of make money online products over the years. Some of them were filled with great information and some of them were filled with terrible information.

One thing that most of them have in common is that they focus on just a strategy to make money online. They go through a technique like selling products, writing sales copy etc.

They may have great information, but they don’t focus on one very important thing. It’s something that could really augment their strategy and make it a lot better.

It’s one word, relationships. Relationships can take your online business to a new level. Think about all of the things that having sound relationships can do for you.

Think about the owner of a mailing list. They better have a good relationship with the people on their list or they won’t keep people on it or have them buying anything that they promote.

Think about people who sell products. Any business owner realizes that repeat business is very important. You won’t get that repeat business if you don’t have a good relationship with your customers and if you don’t keep them happy by providing quality.

Once you have a bunch of happy customers it gets a lot easier to sell products or services. People have already put their trust in you and if you continue to produce, they will come back to you over and over again.

Your reputation is so vitally important to your online business. If you get a bad one, good luck! It’s all about trust, people can’t do business with you in person, so when they send you money, they want to get what they paid for and on time.

It’s very important that you go the extra mile and make sure that your customers are happy with you. Word spreads and your reputation can grow or be shattered.

Look at eBay. They keep track of your feedback. If you have a lower feedback it’s going to affect your business. Whatever you do online, you have a feedback rating below your name. People can’t see it, but it is there.

Look at how important reputation is to professional copy writers or anyone who does freelance work. If they have a great reputation for delivering good work on time, they get more work. If they don’t have that reputation, they don’t get the business, it means everything.

It’s the intangibles like building relationships and having a great reputation that can explode your business and take it to a new level. It isn’t always this new technique that explodes your business.
