Researching Niche s
Author : Yuseff Alqutub
Having an audience is where you start making money. An audience is where your profits start rolling. And an audience is a lot of times misunderstood. To pick an audience that is targeted, and relevant to what your marketing you need to do research, and a couple of other things located in this article.
What is a niche?
If you know anything about internet marketing then ou know that you need to target an audience, otherwise known as a niche. And finding a niche is the first step toward internet marketing.
Finding a niche in forums
But where can I find them? Well good old research should be used to investigate various niches. One way to find a niche is to go to a forum for say cars. You should then go and look for the various problems that are present. An example would be someone needs a special tire, better uet a special snow tire. See if there are other people also looking for the same product, if there are then you have found your niche.
New Product Niche
Well what if a new product comes out? Because usually there are many “HOT” products that need internet marketers attention. So you need to keep on your toes so that you can market to your niche quickly, and efficiently. Always keep on searching for products that are getting good reviews and are appearing on the first page of search engines because this is where your broad niche begins.
Example
Lets talk about the new game Red Dead Redemption for PS3. It just came out as I am writing this article. And there are thousands ready to buy the product. So what I did was research. You need to research the niche until you get to a more specific niche. Because Red Dead Redemption is too broad. A better one is “where to buy Red Dead Redemption online”. The more specific the better because then you will have less competition when marketing the product.
Conclusion
The main aspects of finding a low competition niche are research, research, AND some more research. Also always try to find a more specific niche because it will help you in the long run. I use the website in the about the author section, but there are a lot more sites that you can search for to help you become a better internet marketer.
Have you become passionately absorbed from reading the above article, well maybe not but it was probably useful. He even has his own website for other internet marketers like him. So follow him, check him out now at www.workingforindependence.com
The Do s and Don ts of Blogging
Author : Lawrence Perry
Blogs serve not just as a marketing medium to push products to the public they can also become feedback mechanism to help companies gain a better understanding of what their clients want.
A blog is also a good public relations medium largely because of its capacity to reach a wide audience. But blogs are only good for business if they are utilized properly. Without the proper use of blogs, businesses will not be able to gain the full benefits that can be had from blogging.
Here are some of the do’s of blogging that will help you get the best out of blogging:
Do allow comments. It is very important for the comments section of your blog to be open. Allowing comments on your blog make your blog a much more effective communication channel. If you wish to have more control over the comments that are being published in your blog, you may choose to moderate the comments. But it is very important to let fair comments be published even if the comment is negative. You just need to address negative comments objectively and find a way to rectify the situation.
Do leave comments on other people’s sites. Post positive comments on other people’s sites so that you can also develop better relationships with other bloggers and to also attract more people to visit your blog.
Do update your blog regularly- have something new for your readers every week so that they will be encouraged to follow your blog.
Here are a few don’t’s in business blogging:
Don’t blog about matters that are too personal- do not post anything to personal on your blog such as the fight you had with your neighbor, your hair loss or anything that might make your readers uncomfortable. It is alright to publish some personal information that will help you build string relationships with your readers but do not publish every little tidbit about your life, unless you are blogging to sell your life story.
Do not plagiarize other people’s contents- believe it or not, this still happens. If you do not have time to write good contents for your blog then simply hire a virtual assistant who will do the work for you.
Don’t start fights in your own blog or in others’- don’t ever start a fight online. Follow internet etiquette and do not try to antagonize anyone even if you truly believe they are worth antagonizing.

Use Twitter for Promotions
Author : Lawrence Perry
Twitter is a gift to marketing professionals and consumer companies. Twitter is one of the easiest ways a company can inform people of promotions and marketing events. Twitter is free to use. With 75 million Twitter users, a company must not hesitate to take advantage of the medium for promotions.
Twitter has already been proven to be effective for promotions. Because of the service can reach a wide audience and since updates only need to be 140 characters long, it is easy to use Twitter to send out quick promotional information to the public.
When you use your business’ Twitter account to post promotions, people will follow your tweets because of the possibility that they will find great deals because of your account. You can use Twitter to build your online network and to draw clients to your website or selling site.
One of the good examples of using Twitter to sell or for promos is how Dell uses one of its Twitter accounts. The company uses one account to post promos and good deals online. So far, the company has earned at least $3 million from its Twitter activities in the last several years. Of course Twitter is not the main reason people are buying all these products, Dell really had good deals to offer. They just took advantage of Twitter to get the word out about the company’s great deals.
Now if you have great products and can offer great discounts once in a while, make sure people know that. You can use the occasional discounts to lure clients in. When people get used to following your tweets, you can lure them into visiting your blog or website and they might just end up buying from you even if your products are not discounted at the moment. You just need to make sure that you build a good network of people online, have good deals to offer them, and really entice them to visit your website. This way, a certain level of trust is developed and people will trust what you have to say and offer online.
When trust is developed and when clients already like the products that you sell, the people will really learn to check out your tweets and visit your site even when there are no promos or discounts. Use Twitter to post discounts and other information so that you can attract clients to your website.
